The Emerson Brantingham E-B Line Type “N” 4 HP Gas Engine

4 08 2012

I have just come across an excellent piece of Internal Combustion Engine History – The Emerson Brantingham Implement Co. promotional Handbook for the Type N 4 Horsepower General Purpose Engine.

According to the Promotional  Advertising Brochure – the Engine only weighed 190 pounds and could be used for anything from Powering a washing tub, churning cream or running farm machinery.

The Engine had a throttle and Governer and could produce 4 Horsepower. The engine was fueled by Gasoline (petrol)

I have uploaded a scanned version of this hard to find manual to the website and it is available for free download.

To download the brochure for the Emerson Brantingham E-B Line Type N 4 HP Gasoline Engine – Please go to the web page below
